We love our Boston!!! You will just fall more in love everyday. Be careful if your cat has claws. Pistons, pegs, all those lovable bug-eyed pups are especially susceptible to eye injury with cats.
ETA: We had to hang a bell next to the back door so she could let us know to let her out. She was easy to housebreak but the breed in general are not 'barkers' so it was tough for her to let us know when she wanted to out, esp. if we were upstairs and she was down. The bell helped tremendously and took her only a few days to learn. Here's Piper and her bell...

He's honestly the cutest puppy ever.
I didn't know that about cats and claws (of course my cat has claws, I think declawing is inhumane)...but I would hope that Blue would behave. He's really sweet and loves dogs...I'll pay special attention. I'm going to introduce them tonight once I bring the puppy in.
Thanks everyone...I'm so excited...and I get to surprise DH - he doesn't know I'm picking up the baby today!!
Christian - I'm crate training...any tips?
Your baby is gorgeous!! She's so big...I love that!! The puppy's dad is big too...it's awesome.

Piper's actually on the smaller side of the average weight, can you believe that? She's almost 16lbs. and all personality. But they can be smaller. I've seen a few that are between 10 and 12 lbs.
I'll FM you more about how we crate and potty trained her. That's a bit more typing haha!!
