Need help selecting chicken dish?
I am sorry for the 8,000 posts today, but I need help deciding on another chicken dish to serve at Ava's Christening. We already picked out Chicken Franchaise. We just need one more chicken dish. Here are our 3 choices. Chicken Marsala, Chicken Piccata (chicken pieces in a white wine sauce over artichock hearts) or chicken Scarpiello (chicken pieces, sausage, red peppers and red potatoes in a garlic wine sauce). Which do you think sounds good?? :) I was going to do chicken franchese and chicken marsala but I think they are so close??

almost every shower/baptism, etc I have ever been to had chicken franchese and chicken marsala.
Personally I would pick chicken Scarpiello b/c it sounds yummy but chicken Marsala is more common

If you want to go with something that would be more familiar to people, then I'd go with the Marsala. If you want to go with something different, I'd go with the Scarpiello. Only reason I wouldn't go with the Piccata is because Franchaise is a white wine sauce and you don't want the dishes to be too similar.
