ANyone Else Completely Nervous Before a Dr's Appt???
I have my doctors appointment today and I get so completely nervous even thinking about it. I am excited to see the babies again, but i am so fearful that he is going to give me bad news. Does anyone else feel like this everytime you go to your doctor for a check up?

The regular check ups No, but when I am having a test done or a sonogram yes, i do get nervous. Now that I am towards the end I am getting nervous again...The internals scare me and knowing I will give birth soon scares me beyond belief and makes me a nervous wreck.

I get nervous as well, because I am afraid I will get bad news. It is natural to get nervous. You have this precious thing inside you that you love so much already and want everything to be perfect. It's a mother's instinct!

I get sonograms at every check up so that is why i am nervous. Plus today is the day they test for Downs and Spina Bifida....and I don't even have my husband to go with me 
I'm actually not as fearful of the birth because i am having a planned c-section. I know it does not make sense but i fear that far less then giving brith naturally to two babies at the same time!

Do not be nervous. Just remember the test has a high false positive rate, Everything will be fine.

I know exactly how you feel - everytime I have to go, I freak out and beg dh not to "make" me.....I am a big baby! Luckily, everything has been fine so far...but I get all nerved up anyway!

Yes, mainly because of the two miscarriages. I'm extremely worried this pregnancy.

I freak out every single time I go to the doc. I get all worked up that some catastrophic is going to happen.
Then I get there and everything is perfect and my DH laughs at me for getting worked up over nothing...at that point I vow not to do that the next time (but I always do)

I have an appt today too! And yes I'm always nervous before I go because I think they'll find something horribly wrong.

The only appointment I remember us getting nervous, well more anxious is when we were going to find out of we had a boy or girl

all the time....I m/c at 8 weeks, so everytime I see that tech lady who gave me the bad news, I cringe that she will tell me bad news.

in the beginning, i was very nervous! Before I could feel him moving around, I would always be afraid I wouldn't hear a heartbeat or something. and even now i get nervous that he's not growing properly or something but i think it's more anxiety than anything.

I used to PANIC that in the beginning before I felt the baby move, that the Dr wouldnt be able to find a heartbeat.
