Well... only 2 wks and 3 days left until surgery...
My Lap is scheduled for Dec. 2. So far it's only a Laparoscopy, but there's still a chance for a Laparotomy. Let's hope that doesn't happen. I'm not sure if I told everyone what happened at my RE appt, but at my appt. w/the RE they did a sonogram and the cysts had grown even larger in only a month. All 4 of them together are much bigger than my uterus.  Of course she's going to do the best she can of getting them drained and removed. I'm also praying that I don't lose my right ovary. If having Endo isn't bad enough!!! The worst part is that I won't know what kind of surgery they did or if I lost my ovary until I wake up. How horrible is that? I hope I'm in good hands. With my insurance I have to use a Duke RE. I picked the most popular doctor there. I'll start out at an Ambulatory center and if I need major surgery, I'll be sent to Duke North. I'm hoping for the best. I'm soooo scared! I've only had surgery 1 other time and that was my C-section. At least a baby came out of that deal!

I can understand your fear. I pray that it's a huge success and that although it's not instantly going to give you a baby the way your C-section did....I hope a few cycles later it does !

But in the meantime, I just wanted to also post here to wish you SO much good luck with everything  . I know you are fearful about the procedure and about what they might uncover, but I have faith that all will be OK and that you will have your dream of another child in the near future..
