Okay, I cant go into baby stores any more!!!!
I have a shopping problem already and with all this excitement it doesnt help. I went to Baby Depot (in burlington) today and I bought stuff. They had a glider chair that was on sale for 149 and it was perfect that i could not help to buy it. I did resist a lot more. I could just go nuts in there, but i have to remember thats what my shower is for!!!! Plus im only 11 weeks. I hope i dont jinx anything.

I know how you feel. I started buying things at about 18 weeks and now I can't stop (I'm almost 22 weeks and this kid has a bigger wardrobe than I do...and we don't even know the sex yet  )

It's hard to resist but remember you will get tons of gifts. I found that I had so many newborn clothes that she could never wear them all.

I agree. I stayed strong, most of the time, and I got some really generous gifts I didn't expect. I jumped the gun and bought my Britax carseat, and got yelled at cause someone wanted to buy it. I could've saved myself 260 bucks!

I've been good so far and haven't bought the baby anything yet, although we did get a few small gifts already. BUT now that I know i'm having a girl I think I may not be able to hold back!!

me too...but with marshalls...they always seem to have great baby stuff in there...from books to toys and blankets, etc...I can't stop!
