How early can I test????
I am obsessed with testing even knowing that it's too early.
Just wanted to check with you ladies...I am on 9dpo and am expecting my period on Tuesday the 19th. When can I realistically expect to test and get an accurate result?? I've been getting BFN's until now but I know that I may be getting a false negative b/c I'm testing too early.

It's really not 100% accurate until you miss your period. You can continue to test from now til Tuesday, but you might keep getting a BFN, which I wouldn't trust until Tuesday or Wednesday.
Also it usually take 8-10 to implant, and then, don't quote me on this, but I believe the HCG isn't detected for 2-3 days after implantation. Which is the reason you could be preggo but getting a BFN.

I tested the day after i was late...and got a BFN....then I tested 5 days after that since I hadn't gotten my period yet...BFN again! So, finally, on the 7th day of being late....I got my BFP!!! Try to hold out testing...because seing the negative was really sad....My point is that you never really know the exact date that AF will show...I was always VERY regular so I assumed I was late when I guess I really wasn't

I was the same way, I started testing 7dpo- I am also impatient. I got very discouraged, I even had some wine thinking that AF was comming. Save yourself the torture- wait at least until Tuesday. I didn't get my BFP until 4 days after AF was due.

I got my BFP, a day late. DPO 15
I got a faint line but it was BFP.
I went to doc 3 days later and even their HPT was very faint and that was DPO18.

I am just as crazed with testing as you.
I got a BFP the day before AF was due with First Response Early Detect. However I starting testing at 5 days before AF was due and had negatives right up until then....
Since I will be starting to try again once I get through the recovery of the m/c, I think I should buy stock in First Response!!!!

ok...I've been testing for like a week now. talk about wayyyy too early. I have taken 6 tests...all negative. i don't know why i keep doing this to myself...i just want a BFP so badly and the waiting is killing me. I read that some women get a BFP up to six days before their period and others have to wait until 6 days AFTER their period...so now I just want to throw my hands up in the air! so frustrating!

I too am trying to hold out and not test. AF is due in 2 or 3 days.... I have had the feeling that Af was coming since last weekend....cramps, bloating, headache, backache, tired...and nothing.
Here's my question - does everyone notice implantation bleeding??????
