Amazing disappearing office supplies!

Ok, since I started my job in mid January the following items have disappeared from my desk

My stapler
Numerous pens
A pad of scrap paper I MADE (who the hell would steal a pile of scrap paper?)
2 VASES

And yet no one ever takes the random milk crates in my cube or the painting under the desk. Why are they there? I don't understand.

Does anyone else experience this kind of cubicle supply theft?

I'm only there a few days a week, but EVERY time i go in now, this woman is always sitting at my desk and she says "oh sorry. i didn't know you were coming in today"

and then she takes her time getting her crap off my desk (she brings literally a dozen binders and othehr files.....why can't she stay at HER desk?? Is it that lonely at the other end of the floor? I know I'm near the water cooler, but STILL) and she never logs out. FH said next time I should use her account to email something nasty to the CEO. LOL

Since my desk is the first desk that is on the floor when walking in from the reception area and it's also near the bathrooms pens, post-it note pads and highlighters are constantly missing from my desk.

The other day I did notice a post it with a note that I have to type at the end of providing quotes I have pinned to my desk went missing.

Other then that I have so much junk on my desk it's hard to tell what is really missing from my desk
