My Preliminary Results Came and...
So far things looks normal...I think today is the first time I breathed a sigh of relief. Just to know something.
However the doctor said that these are only the first results and that we are still waiting for the final ones to come in next week.
I am going to continue praying. For any of you ladies that have had preliminary results, have the final results come out normal too.
Do you ladies think the preliminary results are a good indicator?

I'll say a  for you and the little baby  That's great news that the preliminary tests came back good! Try not to worry, I have a feeling everything is going to be OK with your little boy!

WHEW!
My sister in law got her preliminary results (48 hour test) back on her amnio which indicated a chromosome abnormality. Later the 10 day test confirmed everything - so I'd say it's a great sign for you.
I know this sounds really corny - I realize we're all pseudo strangers - I am so relieved to find some good news for you.

I think what she was trying to say is that the preliminary results were right for her sil and the 10 day confirmed it!! Please don't worry!! I think the preliminary results for you are good and that the 10 day ones will be as well!! Still thinking and for you and your little one!!!

That's exactly what I was saying...preliminary results showed the abnormality - 10 day test confirmed it...

I just feel a little relieved to know something. My doctor was like "this is only the first results, we still have to wait for the 10 day, which is the final results"...
So now it's like "well should I feel a little relieved or can I at least breathe a little sigh of relief. I mean if the preliminary tests are not accurate then why do they even exist?
I called the Dr.'s back to see if the preliminary showed the sex and the secretary or nurse or whatever she is said that it didn't. Then I asked her for her opinion on the preliminary results and told her that so far things look normal. She said that in her opinion it's a very good sign.
