I agree - what a shame! There's a house near me with a HUGE evergreen so close to the house - it may have looked cute when it was first planted but you have to think about how big they really get once mature!!
Can you move it to another section of the yard?

Too bad it can't be replanted somewhere, blue spruces are among my favorites.

I would replant it but the old owners had the mailbox in the tree and half of it is dead. I will take closer pics of it.
It is costing $600 to take it down, rebuild it up and then plant the tree and some plants. I thought that was an awesome price

They cut it down!!!!! I was soo nervous They are coming back tomorrow with the 2 shrubs and some other stuff to fill in. But here is what it looks like so far.
