BACK FROM THE DOCTOR! UPDATE -- Worst Cramps of My Life
Update 6/6/05:
I just got back from my OB/GYN. She said I have all of the pg symptoms and she took TWO tests bc she didn't believe the first one. She said she's seen stranger things happen than people getting positive results after 15DPO, so to keep testing if AF doesn't show.

I have the worst cramps of my life today which means TBAF is going to rear her ugly head any minute now. Whenever she comes late, I get her SO much worse, so I'm totally bummed. Plus, I have the worst sore throat today too. Nice weekend.   Sorry, just needed some hugs I guess.
Update:
I'm still getting cramps, but today is CD34 and AF has still not showed up. Tested this morning with CVS HPT and got a BFN. I have a sinus infection and a sore throat so maybe that's throwing my schedule off, but I feel SOOOO PMS. I have my annual tomorrow at 2:45. I'm hoping I go there and they tell me I'm pg (chances are like a million to one, but I'm still hoping.) My pg sister just got me all excited. She told me that a cold was her first pg sign. I don't know what to think anymore. I know I'm just getting my pd late bc I ovulated on CD20, which would make AF due like today or tomorrow, right? Not sure the length of my LP...

Susan we are living the same life practiaclly!! I still haven't gotten AF, still all BFN on the HPTs ... I am on CD43 or 44 - its crazy!! And I've also been REALLY crampy the past 3-4 days, and totally feel like AF is coming but still NOTHING
In your case, I would think that based on you having ovulated on CD20 and that you are now CD34, that you would be due for AF either today or probably in the next few days (your luteal phase might be closer to 16 days perhaps). I'm hoping that beatch does not show of course!!  I am sooo hoping that you do get some great news tomorrow though, you might still be teesting a bit early - you never know!
I can relate to how frustrating it is, I just wanted to give you some hugs and wish you good luck

OOOh, Felicia ... I'm so sorry we have to be twins in this regard! Hopefully, we are pregnancy twins this month and that's why we're both experiencing such similar, messed up cycles.  ok, so maybe not, but thanks for your support and advice nontheless! BABY DUST!

Question for you: When did you get a BFP when you ovulated on CD20? I'm on CD35 today, still no sign of AF, I have many signs of PG (but I'm also sick so that could be why), and I keep thinking 'maybe tomorrow...'

Just wanted you to know that I tested negative 3 times until I got my BFP about 1 and 1/2 weeks after AF was due....hang in there

That does give me hope, THANK YOU! I just have such a feeling this month. I feel so 'off' -- I mean, granted, I'm sick, but I just have a feeling this may be the month for me and I'm really keeping my fingers and toes crossed. I have an OB/GYN appt in a few hours and I'm hoping she'll be able to tell me some good news, however, she will likely do the same POAS test that i've been doing, so who knows. All I know is that I'm later than I've been in a loong time with AF, and while I have been stressed and sick, I'm hoping that this is the real deal. Thanks for all of your well wishes.

They'll probably draw some blood for the pregnancy test if it doesn't show up on an HPT. Though, they won't get the results from it right away so you'll probably have to wait a little... during which time, I'm sure you'll go insane

 LMAO! Love your AF Rap! I've given up on this month. She was just going by the symptoms I told her I had and she said that I'm saying all of the right things and that she's just going to take a second one to make sure. She then said that after I get my HSG and TSH, she's going to take more drastic measures. .. which is a good thing I guess. She was trying to psych me up and keep my spirits high. She told me that i remind her of another girl who was having the same issues and the other girl just got pg last month.  Oh well, only time will tell, but I've sort of given up on this month for now. AF will probably show tomorrow, as I still have cramps.
ETA: Another REALLY important thing that I wanted to get opinions on: She ordered the second pg test to be done after she felt my cervix and said it is VERY TENDER....
Doesn't a soft/tender cervix mean you're more likely to be pg? I'm scared i'm having an ectopic or something.....

I cannot take credit for the "stay away AF cha-cha" that is courtesy of our very own Leighla (Lauren) .. i just think its soo apropriate
Well I know you dont wanna get any hopes up, I certainly DO NOT blame ya and at least you know that if this is not your month, your doctor is going to be aggressive and try to narrow down/pinpoint what might be the cause for you not getting PG
Hey at least you saw your doctor - as you may remember I was supposed to go today to see what MY problem is (same thing, NO AF and all BFNs) but my gyno office called , my doctor had an emergency delivery and the office will not see me until NEXT MONDAY because they do not feel that "this is an emergency" I have not gotten my period in 45 days, I may or may not be PG and they do not think this is a problem
OK my vent is over
I am still hoping that this is it for you (its easier for me to be positive for you than myself  )

Flee, I'm so sorry your doc bailed on you. It's so frustrating! The only thing I really accomplished at the doc was getting my annual done and having her say, "yup, you do seem pregnant..." so that really didn't get me anywhere either. Hoping there's a good reason AF has stayed away from both of us!
