So, we went to a 4th of July party yesterday...

and a family friend of ours (who has triplets that are going to be 5 this month) says "So, when are you going to start trying" my answer was we already have been we are just having problems. Now, keep in mind, she didnt tell anyone that she went IVF we just all assumed because she was 43 or 44 and had triplets. She says I have a fantastic dr who got me pg and 3 of my friends. So, ok I might be looking for a second opinion in a few months so I ask who? It was my dr that I am currently with, at least I feel a little better.

I actually thought it was funny.

That is funny.

I had a similar situation earlier this year where we finally told my BIL and SIL that we were trying and having problems and SIL told me they had some issues as well and turns out we were using the same RE.

Hopefully you will be lucky with your doc like your friend was!!

you would think someone who has been through it would be a little more sensitive about asking that loaded question.

But at least you heard goof things about your RE

I love hearing stories like that! For one, it confirms that your not alone in your stuggle, and two, that your a smart cookie who has choosen a great doctor. Here's to women sharing the wealth of knowlege and good advice with each other
