I've never been to Cabo so I can't compare, but DH and I absolutely LOVE Puerto Vallarta.

I'm leaning towards PV since you can go in the ocean and it is a bit cheaper. Any recommendations on where to stay?

Which hotel did you stay at?
RIU Place- all inclusvie
right down to water and drinks in your room
close to town
so nice- such a good deal- and it's brand new
aga just went there- and a bunch of girls on LIW went on there HM-

DH and I went to Cabo also and LOVED it. We stayed at Fiesta Americana and it was beautiful! I have never been to Puerto Vallarta so I can't compare.

I have heard great things about both places.
Trip Advisor rates the hotels by popularity and many of the reviews are very useful:
