Theres no room @ the hosptial for my sister!
I feel so bad. She is supposed to be induced today (& her DR. is going away in a few days) but the hospital called last night and said they don't have a bed for her!
The said to call @ 5AM to see if one opened up. Well it's 9:30am they are waiting for 15 people to be discharged.
On top of that her 3yo woke up sick. Throwing up, fever etc. She had NO sleep.

That stinks! I'm sure she must be really frustrated. Hopefully they'll discharge some of the new momies and open up a space for her.

That's awful! Poor thing. What hospital is this? I guess there's a big baby boom! I hope they find room for her soon so your new niece/nephew can come into the world.

Unfortunately when you are scheduled for an induction or c-section you get bumped fro emergencies. This is my fear for my scheduled c-section. I hope they get her in ASAP

OMG!! That is exactly what happen to me!!
I was supposed to be there between 8-8:30 - they called at 7:45 and told me there was no room. I ended up being admitted at 6:00 that night 
What a nightmare!

She lives in Florida. But I never heard of them doing this. I guess it happens.
Anyway they re-scheduled her for tomorrow. Quote "we'd hate to have you deliver in the hall way!"
Wow, remind me not to have a baby in West Palm!
I can't wait to see him. I'll be down there in 1 week!

screw that - that is what they told me - we will re-schedule. at this point i was 12 days late and it was a friday - i had dh call them the rest of the day until we got in
