Is their a growth spurt between 2 & 3 months?

DS seems to be really hungry all of sudden all the time. Since saturday he wants to eat every two hours and is eating 4 or 5oz. I try to push him off to wait about 20- 30 minutes because I dotn want him to have more than 32oz per the doctor. If I give him more at a feeding he will still be hungry 2 hours later. Any suggestions on what I should do so I can spread out the feedings. Some times the paci works but I have to hold it for him because he looses the suc.k. Just wanted to add that I use to feed him on demand but he would only eat 2-5 oz a feeding and the most he would eat all day is 25-30 oz so I didnt have a problem feeding him every two hours.

Do you give him a pacifier? Maybe the su<king will ease him

My son seemed to have a growth spurt every month mark. Between two and three months he grew 2 1/4 inches.
