I'm bummed now... (w/ update)
Well, my friend is taking her daughter to the city to see Jamarama Live with Laurie Berkner and my sweet DH said he would take Mallory for the whole day (I haven't left her that long yet) so that I could take Jordan and go to the city too and have a Mommy and son day, well I went online to ticketmaster to buy tickets and they are sold out!!! ARGH! I already told Jordan about it too ! Hopefully he won't remember

what about ebay or craigslist? (though i checked craigslist for you, and the only ones that are posted are other people that are also looking to Buy them  )... but may be worth it to check it out again

DH is going to kill me for posting this one online, but since we're talking your son maybe he won't mind.
Often when a show is "sold out", the day of the show they have credit card no-shows or "throwbacks". Throwbacks are tickets that are given to the bands that they don't use up. If you go to the box office the day of the show, you can see if you can pick them up. Call Roseland to see if they do this kind of thing - I've gotten tix for plenty of other venues this way.
I realize this isn't ideal for a 4 year old but if you don't get in - the city has a ton of other options. I would explain to him that you want to see if you can get tickets to see Laurie Berkner but that they may be sold out. If they're sold out, than you & he will have a fun Mommy & me day in the city & meet up with your friend later. Check out the childrens events listed in NY Magazine online (if you can't get it I have this week's in my car) and in Newsday. I'm sure there will be haunted houses somewhere. You can swing by Toys R Us, go on the ferris wheell, go to Mars 2112, etc.

Well, I did some searching and a long story short...WE GOT TICKETS! Yay! Jordan is very excited! It'll be fun to have a Mommy and me day and it'll be good for Daddy to spend a whole day with Mallory!  We'll see how Daddy makes out!

YAY!! I just saw the commercial for this for the first time tonight (yes, I live in a bubble). Let me know how it is cause if it's worth it I will take the kiddies next year
