? about the cost of painting the inside of a house...

We are having a painter go to our new house to give us an estimate of how much it will cost.
WE have no clue on what would be a good price. Does it go by the number rooms, walls, square feet, hours it takes? we have no idea if this guy will be giving us a good price. Can anywhen help? Thanks

I believe that it goes by the rooms and the size of the rooms.

I have a super inexpensive painter (I mean REALLY inexpensive - one guy quoted me 1300 -- this painter did it for 350) FM me if you want the #. A few other girls on here also used him.

Some peole charge by the job, others by the day. I had a guy quote me over @2,000 to paint two rooms. Another guy, the guy we used, only charge $650 a day and it took him 2 days to do the job, so $1,300. Painter's aren't cheap by any means!
