Fruits or veggies poll
After the cereals did you introduce fruits or veggies. If you did fruits first did they have a hard time with veggies??

We did both..lol.. the first actual feeding was fruit. but the second was veggies.. WE had no problem, certain veggies and fruits your lil one wont eat, just beacuse of texture or taste.. Its all trial and error. Dh was scared too that if we started him on fruits, he would never wanna eat the veggies.
Now that my son is three.. we are having that problem.. lol.. He rarely eats veggies.. Good Luck!

We did fruits and Gabriella LOVES both! She never turns any food away even at 21.5 months.

We started w/ fruits...haven't gotten to veggies yet...I'm going to ask my dr about starting them at his next well visit on Thurs..

We started with veggies, then moved onto fruits. Alex pretty much eats everything I give him. I am lucky in that dept, hopefully it will stay that way.

We started with veggies first - sweet potatoes. He loves them and they are still one of his favorites.

We didn't start yet...just started cereal yesterday.  However, my pediatrician said on Friday to start the fruits first because they're usually easier on the stomach and veggies can be gassy.

I did fruits first and no problems when he moved to veggies at all. I read that it is untrue that once they like fruit and the sweetness - it will be difficult to get a baby to eat veggies. It is all up to your baby. My son loves his veggies (except green beans - he eats them but not with the same excitement).

We did veggies first all the oranges and then onto another color and so on.

the 1st thing that James ate after cereal was Sweet Potatoes...he didn't take to much else for awhile.

i did veggies first. only cause our pediatrian suggested it would be easier to start with the veggies cause once they had the sweet fruits introducing veggies that are not as yummy would be difficult.
