Pizza Question #2
DO you put anything odd on your pizza?
Odd as in a normal pizza place won't have as a topping.
Sometimes I like to dip my pizza in wing sauce...mmmmmmmm

In college the big thing was to dip it in Blue Cheese dressing. (upstate anyone?! )
Odd? Well, when I was in Italy I had pizza w/ asparagus on it and loved it. The pizza was a little different, but I would get that on it here if I saw it.

My bf has family upstate and went to school there. He says dipping pizza in Blue cheese is the best. I have yet to try it.
Alright this is really disgusting but I have always wanted to put peanut butter on my pizza. I might try that this weekend. I'll let you guys know if I throw up or not. LOL

I thought it sounded so nasty when I first got there, but I actually came to really like it - especially at about 2:00AM after the bars!!

Ooo, they made this at a pizza place in Oakdale once a week and I always tried to go on that day bc it was so good. But I think they put onions on too. ok, now I'm getting hungry. When I was in college, I used to eat white pizza with jalapenos on it.

Where I went to college (Providence), we had a pizza parlor who made shrimp pizza with ricotta cheese. I'm not sure if that's weird, but I don't see that here anywhere.

AHHHH YES blue cheese dressing on pizza!!!! SO GOOD!
I went to college upstate too!
Oh and I wanted to add - my first boyfriend in 7th grade put Doritos on his pizza.

I like to add cheddar cheese to mine and let it melt in it. My DH thinks it is gross but it is good. My sister tried it and was apprenhensive at first and loved it.

In college some of my friends would get a slice and then have a handful of cold mozzerrella on top. It was supposed to be good but I never tried it.

Back home in Buffalo 9 out of 10 times you get wings with your pizza so everybody always dips the pizza in the blue cheese...love it!!! FH thinks I'm disgusting

If you get buffalo chicken pizza alot of time it has the bleu cheese already in there and I like it!
I also like pineapples on my pizza but that's not too weird.

When DH and I were in Argentina his friend made a pizza with hearts of palm and thousand island dressing on top. It was delicious. I like to put butter on my crust, it is so good.

When I lived in CA, and I was visiting a friend in the Sacramento area, the pizza came with little covered cups of melted butter. They told me that butter was for dipping the crusts into when you are done with the pizza. Being displaced NYers, they had to ask someone about it the first time they saw it. We all thought, if the crust was good - you wouldn't have to dip it in butter to eat it
Also, when I lived in CA, there was a place that made a mexican pizza - think taco salad on top of a pizza crust. It was actually really good, but didn't taste like traditional pizza at all.
