I'm pretty dumb!
Okay- I'm really embarrassed but I realized that I've been using a regular fever thermometer this whole time. I thought the whole basal thing was that it just wasn't digital.  Mine measures temps at .2 intervals, although I do record when it is in the middle...I have clear shifts and I know it is more important to see the forest through the trees...should I start with a new thermometer?
I can't believe i didn't realize it this whole time!

It really doesn't matter at this point since you are post ovulation. However, I would get a good basal thermometer.
Basal thermometers are usually digital nowadays lol
You aren't using a digital thermometer ? How long is it taking you to temp ? lol

Thanks Michelle- I'll order one now on-line for next month. I stick the thermometer in my mouth for one "snooze" (ten minutes until the alarm goes off again)

Eckerd sells the BD thermometer (bbt). It takes about a minute to get a reading and it beeps to let you know it's doing it's job. lol
Or you can get the CVS one that KitKat calls her 'ghetto' one lol since it takes forever :) (I had to share that)

I like my ghetto thermometer! I have the BD brand that beeps sooner, but I kept getting a 97.3 for over a week (batteries were fine and it was probably accurate) and I couldn't take seeing that number anymore so I switched to my CVS one that takes longer, but read it out by two digits more...and it gives me the variety I need to see now and then.

Thanks ladies- I actually just ordered the "fairhaven health" digital basal thermometer- I googled basal thermometer and found a few sites! It was $10....i hope the instructions tell you how often to change the batteries- i can just see me panicking that i'm not O'ing!!

I've had the same problem with the BD one - while I love that it's so quick and has memory, it is flat an awful lot of the time.
I have the CVS one too, and even though I fall asleep with it in my mouth while waiting an excruciating 3 minutes for it (I'm so impatient!!) it makes me feel better to see some tiny shifts.
