My prenatal vitamins are making me sick!!
I am taking Stewarts prenatal vitamins. Originally I was taking another one but I had to switch because I am anemic and need more iron. The vitamins are ripping my stomach apart  I am either very constipated or running to the bathroom (sorry for TMI!). My stomach hurts so much after I take it even though I take it on a full stomach. Does anyone have any suggestions about a vitamin that is easy on the stomach. TIA!!

You should try the one's that I take. I've been taking them for years and never had a problem! I can take them at anytime with or without food as well. They are a prescription though. They are Prenate Elite. I've never even been nauseous with them. Good luck and I hope you feel better!

i had the same probelem so i switched to flinstones with iron ask your doctor.

heres a great hint my obgyn told me, take your prenatal vitamin right before you go to sleep at night, that way, you will sleep right thru your nausausa and any other discomfort it worked for me like a charm!!

I take Prenate elite and have not had any problems. I take them at night.

I take the CVS brand right after I eat breakfast. I took one last week after waiting an hour and a half and I was so nauseous! As long as I take them with something to eat I'm fine. I really don't find them that strong.
