like i said Im pretty sure canon has a newer model of the i960 out there - although I did just find the i960 for sale on Amazon for $199

there was just an artical about them in teh NYTimes a week back- maybe you can do a search.
Said they were not economical what-so-ever: better quality & more cost effective to use snapfish service for example.

I have to admit, I'm a Snapfish junkie. I DO still use my photo printer at home but snapfish is fantastic. 4x6 prints are only 12 cents each.

This is the same conclusion I've come to. I have a 'regular' color printer when I went to print something up real quick and dirty. If I can wait a day or two, I send it off to Shutterfly. If I need it ASAP, I just bring it up to CVS. This is what I advise my clients to do.

My picture quality is so amazing! Someone was looking at my honeymoon pictures and said "whoever printed thouse did a great job the color is great" I was like I printed them at home. They couldnt believe it!
My suggestion though is this... When I was in college (photo major) I only printed on Kodak or ilford paper. I tried to use Kodak paper with my Canon printed and it looked like crap. If you buy a canon printed then only use Canon paper. If you buy a kodak printer then only use Kodak paper.
