If you went right from living with parents to moving in with SO/getting married
Do you regret not having had the chance to live alone?
I've always wanted to live alone. In fact I LOVE it when there's no one around. I don't want to live with FH, the slob. Are you sure we can't get like, apartments in the smae building or something? LOL. I guess I just have always wanted to do things MY way!

Sometimes I regret never having the chance to live alone but I think it was more important to live with DH before we were married then it was to live alone.

I think living alone is extremely important before getting married. There's nothing like being on your own...becoming independent, IMO. 
DH never lived alone and I regret it for him...it would have made things *much* easier on us.

I only lived "alone" at college for a year.... but DH was at the same college so we were together all the time anyway!
I don't regret it though, because living at home with my mom allowed me to $ave $ave $ave so we were able to afford our house pretty young

I didn't but DH did. I never had the desire to live alone. I think if it's something you think you want you should at least try it otherwise you might regret it.

I lived in Manhattan for a year. Had the time of my life. I sowed all of my oats before making the decision to move in with my husband. Best move I ever made.

The best thing I did for myself was getting my own apartment when I finished grad school. I lived alone for 7 years. But I know people who went from their parents house to their married homes and have no regrets.
Also, since I had no idea when I'd meet DH, there was NO way I'd live with my folks indefinitely, even though they're great.

I never really had the chance to live alone except in college for a semester. I don't really regret it... well maybe a little bit.

I lived alone when I was in college and then after college I moved back in with my mom until I got married. I dont regret not living on my own after college that much....but I do regret not moving into the city for a year or two to have that experience.

I'm not good being by myself. I get lonely. I like to be alone sometimes, but I like the feeling of having someone else around. Whether is was my parents or now DH.

You need 2 houses connected by a love bridge, like Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera 
I lived alone off and on for about 10 years,a nd so did DH. I loved it and miss it sometimes. I don't think it made it harder to live with DH, but there are definitely compromises on both sides.

My sister lived on her own before living with DH and I didn't.
Its so funny b/c she wishes she never did... now she knows what she is missing and wants to go back 
I don't know what I am missing so I never think about it

I miss it, but overall, I am MUCH happier living with DH

I think it's different for everyone. I was TERRIFIED of being lonely when I first got my own place, but I adjusted rather quickly and loved it!!
when DH moved in with me, it wasn't really that hard to adjust to living with him... I guess I'm lucky
