Cruise people...is this a good price?
We got quoted $1497 pp with all taxes for the Norweigan Crown boat, NY to Bermuda for a week next July. Its an outside cabin with a picture window. Is that a good price? I've never been on a cruise before and this is being planned by a friend.

Not sure what week you are looking at but I looks like it should be closer to 1100-1200 pp.
I use this company for my last two and have a third booked with them now. I call and talk to connie ext 22. My parents have used them for a number of cruises. As well as a couple of our friends.
Etd to add if she is using a regular travel agent she will pay more or if you are going thru the company itself - with cruising to a large part (depending on the line) you are usually better to book with a major cruise internet company as the cruise lines give them special discounts.

I thought that was high.
I paid less $$$$ than that and I took the cruise from Florida with airfare.
It just seems high considering the time of year you are going and that there is no airfare included, and you are leaving from NY.

Well the only thing is that it sounds like she is being quoted rack rates.
Leaving from NYC is much more money than leaving from FL and bermuda cruises are more expensive than say going to the caribbean but just running a check on that other site it high - especially considering that it is not a balcony cabin.

thats pretty high (by at least a couple of hundred dollars).
Did you get that price from the Norweigan site, or through a travel agent? (i know the norweigen site lists it a little higher, and we got a much better price through our TA)

IMO that is HIGH
I just went on a 7 day cruise by carnival and for that price i coulda got a balcony in my room

WAY TOO HIGH- for that price you can get a balcony room, or a jr suite.

I agree that is high. Try using cruisecompete.com . I got a really good price on NCL for our Alaskan cruise last summer using that site.

It is high but its what my friends family is doing and DH wanted to go, so we are going - high price and all. I'm trying not to think about the price and just the good time I'm going to have hopefully!
