When PG, do you have to take extra Folic Acid besides what's in your Prenatal?

they recommend 800 mcg...which should be in your prenatal.
OJ has folic acid, shredded wheat cereal has 100% (I eat the one in the bag by Malt-o-meal)

I did have to take extra folic acid because of family history.

I wasn't told to take extra Folic Acid - i just take my prenatal vitamin.

Thats what I was told, but since I am going back to the doctor this week, I am going to double check
