Commerce Bank
My MIL went to open a bank account at 2 banks for my new niece. One was the bank that she always uses for the grandchildren but they have recently changed policies to a large minimum balance so she tried another and they were rude and didn't seem like they wanted her business.
So she went to Commerce Bank who had a low minimum balance (or none I forget) AND they were friendly and helpful AND the best part is the banker asked who she was opening the account for, so MIL says her 8 month old grand daughter - he says, thats nice I'm going to give her another $20 into her account to give her a nice start. 
I thought that was pretty nice of them!

i love commerce bank also, that's where i do all my banking!! they are very easy to deal with and very efficient.
by the way,,, they shouldn't have a minimum balance for their accounts, i would have her check that.

We love commerce bank they are great - we had a lot of problems with some of the other banks so commerce is a nice change

We are doing our morgages with Commerce. The people that work there are all really nice. They really understand the meaning of customer service.

Thats pretty cool.
A lot of banks now offer free money for opening an account. I know one specific Citibank code that will give you anywhere from 100 - $200 for opening a new checking account.

We use Commerce as well. It is a very nice bank. Took some getting used to with their not so great website (I was coming from Citibank, which had excellent online banking) but it's worth it. And they're popping up all over the place so that's great as well.

i LOVE Commerce Bank. They are always open and the one by my apartment in the city is open until Midnight on Fridays- they are open every Sunday and almost every Holiday. Everytime I call I get a person, and not a voice mail.
And they give out candy and doggie treats. How can you go wrong.
