Help me pic a style...(now w/ pics)
I dunno what to do...
I wanna donate my hair so I have to take off 10"- which would put my hair, a little lower than shoulder length,....
The long hair is just getting to much- but in the same token, I dont know if Im ready to part with it yet....
I also wanna color it (the same as this Jeannie Garth pic) and know it will cost me a fortune if I dont cut it first...
Any suggestions...
I like both the Jennie Garth cut and color..
As well as this old Jenn Aniston cut....
I just know all those layer are alot of work-and somedays my boss (DS  ) dosent feel like letting mommy make her hair pretty before work   Image Attachment(s):

the "rachel" is out IMO
the second pic is a little more versatile and i see more on YOU

I just feel like there in no style to the Jen Garth pic... is just all one length...
I just like the little bang on the aniston... but you're right... its very 90's...
Do you think I should cut???
I know Im gonna miss my hair...
What if I dont donate and just cut my hair to like bra strap length....
Any ideas suggestions, pics.... Im so undecided!

No i don't....
I LOVE your hair...
and i do like the highlights of Jennie's hair so yes i would go for it

Ive never ever paid to have my hair colored....(my friend use to do it)
I assumed that theyd jack up the price the same way they do when I have it cut.... (do they do that to you too ?)
Any long hair do's..... because I def. need to do SOMETHING!

Maybe a mix of the 2... the bangs from Jennifer Aniston and the other lenght/color.
There is one hairstyle Kelly Clarkson had that I think you will like... I will try to find it.

for a cut...yes long hair they charge more..
But i have never had them charge me more for highlights or color.
long hair is very difficult to "style" IMO.
you can cut some off and put some layers...
but other than that there is little that i have seen...
So if you want a change, a style...then maybe you should go for it and cut it

from the pics I've seen...your hair looks great long!!!
The shorter/layered styles can definately be more work, I think...
I am getting my hair cut, colored, full highlights tomorrow- this place says $85 and up for highlights depending on length (I thought) so I was thinking they will charge me more than that

I like this ALOT!!!
But now when I have had shorter hair in the past.... I find it so hard to get the body these girls have in there styles...
I have VERY VERY THICK hair.... and yet still cant get bounce like that...

If you have thick hair...use rollers.
That and some hair gels should do the trick
But this is the exact reason why i do NOT want to cut my hair...I have thin hair and it would take me hours to get it to look "styled"

I say grow it out & then do the Garth cut & color. You have beautiful hair - and it will look great on a little bald girl who needs it!

To be honest the old Jennifer one is a little too dated for me.
Also- think about it long and hard. From March of last year to now I cut in two cuts 12 inches off my hair and I loved it for all of maybe a week. Now Im trying to grow it right back. I tried two different styles and it just didnt feel like "me"....

This is me... I do this all the time... Grow and chop.... then regret....
But heres my issue with it being long.... it always looks messy (well to me anyway)
Because its so thick, and I have so much.....immediately after brushing... I turn one way and its all knotty.... I can never just "run my fingers through my hair" so to me... i think it looks messy...
I know it wont change much if I cut it- BUT less hair = less mess...

I felt the same way actually
But when i cut off just 6 inches it made a huge difference in my hair..
LESS KNOTS and messiness..
But for me...
SHORT meant A LOT MORE work..
i like the wash and go ease

I like the Jennie Garth look...very nice...I love the Kelly Clarkson hair, though it's probably a lot of upkeep.
