so i fell the other night....UPDATED
i called my doctor today because i just want to be sure everything is ok. he wants me to come for a sonogram today. now i just wish i didn't have to wait all day. i'm 8 weeks today, and i'm pretty sure that when i fell i avoided hitting the floor in any bad spots. keep your fingers crossed!!! thanks girls!
update- went for the sonogram last night and everything is perfect!! the baby grew from last weeks sono and the heartbeat is even stronger. the umbilical cord started forming also. i feel so relieved!!!! thanks for the thoughts and prayers!!!

thank you!!! i will certainly keep you posted. last week we heard and saw the heartbeat, so i'm hoping tonight will go just as smooth....just wish i didn't have to wait.

I think you will be OK!  The baby is protected by a lot of padding. I fell around 14 weeks and they did a sono too, everything with the baby was fine.
It's a great chance to get to see your little bean again too!

Don't worry, I fell two weeks ago and fractured one ankle and badly sprained anothr. Everything is OK with my little Animal, I am sure yours will be fine

Try not to worry too much. I actually just read today in "What to Expect When You're Expecting" that pregnant women are prone to falling because our bodies are changing so rapidly and that the baby is VERY WELL protected. The book says that in order to hurt the baby by falling you would usually have to hurt yourself so badly that you would end up in the hospital.
So try not to worry and definitely keep us posted!
