Those getting scheduled c-section...
are you being totally put out due to medical reasons?
I am probably and I am so scared and I can't seem to find anyone else that will be going through this I think about it everyday and get so upset
I find out for sure on the 6th if it is posiible for me to get an epidural but I am so scared about the c-section

I had a scheduled C-section. I was not put out. I had a spinal not an epidural. My friend was put totally out but hers was an emergency c-section. If you have any questions please feel free to FM me or if you want me to ask her something I would be more than happy to.

My gf just had an emergency c-section on the 5th and had such a wonderful experience. She was on the phone with me 2 hours later sounding great!! He recoup has been pretty easy too......Good Luck

I had an emergency c-section. I was given a spinal. It wasn't as bad as I thought. My family was amazed that I sounded great later that day...of course I did, I was taking drugs.. I was very lucky, I had a great recovery. If you have any questions, FM me

I had a scheduled c-section and got the spinal. I had a wonderful experience. I was up the entire time and was even talking to the people in the operating room with me. I was in recovery for less that 2 hours. They made me stay there until I was able to move my legs.

I remember your old post about why you might have to be put out, I don't want to upset you but a friend of mine had the same situation, alot of rods in her back, with her first baby they tried doing a spinal 6 times but b/c of all the metal it wouldn't penetrate and she wouldn't go numb to have a c-section while awake, in the end she was put to sleep and now she is having her second and they are putting her out again. I hope things work out for you!
