Is this too girly?? (PIC is working)
My mom is making the crib bedding for us. We're not going to find out what we're having so obviously want something neutral. Do you think this fabric is too girly? I think we'd paint the room a light yellow on the bottom half with a chair rail and then white or light beige on top and have my dad paint an ocean or beach themed mural on one wall.
What do you think? We're also going to register for the Ocean Wonders stuff. We both love the theme.

I like it! Being boaters and salt water fish fanatics (Go Nemo) we tend to like anything nautical - ocean themed. It can work boy or girl  Can't wait to see the finished product!

There is a lot of pink and purple in the outline of the fish picute.
I would say . But its cute.

I agree. The outline says to me as well. The inside is definitely neutral.

The more I looked at it, I thought so too but wanted other opinions. I was thinking that if the crib bumpers, skirt and sheets drew out the yellows or greens maybe it would offset the pink and purple.
Thanks for everyone's opinions. I'll definitely share the finished products with everyone in a few months when Mom's done sewing.
By the way, my gut instinct is that I'm having a That's whay I was concerned.

If the accompaniments have more pink, then yes it would be more girly.
But, the fish make it appealing to boys and girls.

I think it's more on the girly side and I think if you were doing an ocean/beach mural those colors might be too bright and clash with the calming serene colors of the beach/ocean water
