Would you go up? Not specifically this time. But say everything is fine with the shuttle....would you ever want to go into space?

I watched it. I find it truly amazing and terrifying at the same time.

i agree about it being a bit of both emotions. doesnt that make you give so much credit to the people on board? i couldnt even imagine. thats why i said i would never do it, but id love to!!

I would go, without a doubt!!
Yes it would be terrifying but at the same time, what an amazing feeling it must be for those very very few people who are able to go into space and experience things the vast majority of us will never come close to experiencing

Ya know what would freak me out though, the speed, going from 400 to 900 to 17,000 mph would freak me out a bit. I yell at my DH when he goes over 90, can't imagine 900. But I'd still do it!!
