Gyno exam question
I had a gyno appt yuesterday (6mon visit) and i realized after i left that he didnt do a breast exam. Is that something they normally do or only once a year?

Yeah bc he said next time i come in (in another 6 mons) that he would do a "full" exam. I guess that includes breast? But what else could thta include?

yes on urine and i guess he did a PAP bc he was "down there"

you should always check yourself anyway...i do it in the shower.

I go every six months and they do a breast exam at the annual visits, not the 6-months.

once a year!
I go every 6 months for a quick check-up and to get my prescription for the pill... they check for cysts I think.
Then once a year I get the breast exam and pap.

I go every six months and he always checks...however, I do have a history of cystic breasts...but I do think it's part of his routine. I wouldn't worry about it so much -- however, next time you go, I would mention it.
