spinoff to things your mom says
what are some of the funny/quirky phrases your mom says that now as adult you use too
If something is gross or dirty she says it is totally
"skivatz" or "filthy dirty"
If my mom can't remember the name of something, she calls it a (spelled phonetically ) gooma say gahm
I think that stems from como se llama -what is it called - in italian, but her slang pronounces it goomasegahm
"Use that new um, you know goomasaygahm to clean the floor"

My mom frequently busts out the Italian herself, and now I say it too:
Gomasaygyam (however it's spelled)
Vinay ca (Come here)
Vagagado- (Go to sleep)
I seriously have no clue on the spelling- as you can tell. Mainly because I think these words are 1/2 sicilian and 1/2 made-up!

When you get hurt .. boutega disorta (means your sisters bottle?) ...
or buorta disale "a burst of salt" ... it orginiates from Borta di sangua which is "burst of blood" .. like wishing someone injury ... I guess burst of salt is nicer?
also Putanna D'oul "slut of the devil" .... hahahaha. My mother would always tell me not to dress like a puttana.
