What do you think of these invitations UPDATED with new choice on bottom
For a Luau themed bridal shower?

i think theyre cute, Butttttt
1. mailing them would be a pain in the azz
2. if i receive a package, i get all excited- if it turns out that 'package' is just an invitation, it would be a huge let down to me.
3. i would get annoyed that sand got all over my floor because i had to turn the bottle upside down to get the invite out.
as a favor, theyre really cute... but not as an invite, imo

Thanks for being honest
People would know its not a package b/c they actually don't even need to be mailed in boxes.. they are mailed just like that.
Also it says " Your invited" on the outside

I like these much better, these are cute! the sand would annoy me too- very cute idea though. I vote for the sandal!

the flip flops are SO cute! I was going to suggest maybe you could find a hibiscus shaped invitation and attach it to a lei and send that and the whole invite be a necklace of sorts....

I sent the message in a bottle to a few people, and they LOVED LOVED LOVED them. (It was not an invitation, but rather a birthday card for them, rather, a birthday message).
But yes, postage is expensive if I remember correctly.

I like the flip flop. Also, I live in an apt - that bottle would take up my whole mailbox and all the other mail would get squashed in the box - it would annoy me.

I actually received the first invitation. Personally, I loved it, but my mom and sister complained that they sand got all over their home. It was also for a beach wedding.
The sandal is very cute also!
