Big-Headed Babies Spinoff
Did anyone's peditrician request a head sonogram because babies head is larger than "normal"?
ETS - My daughter head is bigger also - well wide - it runs in my husband's side and my peditrican asked us to get a head sonogram done to make sure she had the right amount of fluids etc... and that the brain was growing properly.
We went for it and everything was fine - said it could be genetics but to also keep an eye on it.
Did anyone go through something similar?

Kevin had to have a head CT to make sure his sutures (soft spots) hadn't closed prematurely. (They didn't )
He has a big noggin too.

My DS #1 had one when he was about 11 months. Unless it all of a sudden starts getting bigger during their month to month visits, most of the time, its just a standard procedure to make sure all is OK.
