LIRR-I haven't posted in a while about stuff
I've gotten to the point where I just laugh about the stupidity of some.
This morning I'm next to a dude who's cell phone would beep every minute..he had a voice mail..but he didn't check it. It was a reminder beep.
Check your freaking voice mail or shut the phone off jackazz!
For 50 minutes on the train this morning..it beeped 50 times. I stopped counting after 20..at least I amused myself since I couldn't nap.

 I was just on it today - off peak. Some lady was screaming into her phone, "I can't hear you!!!!!" - I got up out of my seat - got UP OUT of my seat, walked over to her and said, "Why are you screaming?"
She said, "I can't hear my husband."
I said, "You probably got disconnected. Don't scream - just check your phone."
He called her back, she screamed again and I yelled, "Shut up already!"
I'm going to get shot one day and I don't care.
Commuting is exhausting sometimes.

There was a very large woman on the train yesterday that wanted to sit next to me in the two seater on the new train. She asked to sit, I got up and let her into the inside seat and then I squeezed my not so skinny butt in my seat. She was practically sitting on top of me. Now I'm not slim by any stretch but I know my size and I know where I fit. She did not fit! Not even close!
If I see a seat that looks tight, I won't sit in it. I know some will and that's your choice but I don't want to be uncomfortable or make someone else uncomfortable.
At Mineola I moved my seat and ended up sitting across from a Valley Girl! How many times did she say "like"? She was on her cell phone and from what I could derive, she was a teacher.
I just wanted to smack her upside her head.
