Times square area
HI!! My Dh and I are going into the city next week. were staying in the times square area. does anyone have any suggestions of things to do?? were meeting up a couple we met on our honeymoon. We are only staying for one night. Unfortunately were not going to a show
any good bars in the area/???

I don't know about bars, but why don't you go to Madame Tussaud's(sp?) Wax Museum.

blue fin is a good restaurant in the W.
also, as cheesy/touristy as it is, DH & I go to the View (Marriot Marquis) probably once a yr. It's  but fun bc they have dancing upstairs and such a nice "view".

that where were staying at the Marriott. the name of the rest. is the view??? does it spin while u eat??

yup thats the one! it's definitely expensive but its different and we usually have a nice time there. it's tourist heaven though.

There is a good club there- Show. Its on 41st. Definitely the theatre district- catch a show.

Go to Don't Tell Mama. It is a piano bar on 46th between 8th and 9th. I admit that I am bias since I work there, but it really is fun. All of the staff are amazing singers and there are plenty of sing alongs.
