LINEA NEGRA????
This thin very faint brown line appeared today...anyone else have this and when did it happen to you???
Why is it here???? PLease give me some answers..>>>

It's from hormones...no big deal. It will go away gradually after you have the baby. Some women get it, and some don't. I think women with darker skin tones are more prone to it, but not sure.

I've heard that lots of women get this from pregnancy. It usually starts to appear in the later months.

Mine started around 20 wks or so. It's from the hormones... and it got darker and longer. It grows in length with your uterus.

I never got it. It does eventually go away though, so I've heard, after the baby is born.

I had it and at 4 months after baby is born - I still have it lightly. It is going away little by little but taking it's sweet time. It kind of all is piling into my belly button - my belly button looks kind of dirty but it is just the pigmentation settling there - my friend said the same exact thing happened to her.
