Why Are People So Rude?!
I'm 14 weeks pregnant w/my second child. This weekend I went away on a family get together. I cannot believe how many people made such insulting comments. People just come out and say "Hey big fat pregnant woman" and "Boy you're kind of big already". Now keep in mind, I'm smaller than one of the girls that made this comment BY FAR and she's NOT pregnant!!! And the other girl gained 75 lbs when she was pregnant. I just started crying when one of the girls insulted me.
Then I feel like a jerk defending myself by saying Hello, I'm still in size 10 pants and regular shirts I don't think I'm THAT big. Granted have I gained weight YES, however, I am pregnant and everyone says you show quicker with your second.
I just can't believe that woman who have HAD children are so insensitive!!!
I guess I'll have to take out the bigger shirts!

people are unreal!!!! yes it is true you do show quicker eachtime! DOnt you love it its always the people who are bigger naturally that sat rude things!!!! . I try to ignore them!!

That is so rude!! Obviously the woman who is not pregnant feels really bad about herself and her own weight, otherwise she wouldn't feel the need to comment on yours. Just think about how sad and pathetic those people are- and be glad that you you are so much above that. Some people only see the negative- and these two sounds like those kind of women- and people like that will never be happy. But sorry you had to deal with it.

I'm just annoyed like they made it seem like I was obese. Hello I'm still in a size 10. How bad can that be!?!?!

I deal with this on a daily basis from the female staff where I work. I've noticed that women who are in fairly good shape rarely, if never, make such comments. I really think that a lot of the comments come from really insecure women who are FINALLY gloriously happy to see a woman who is usually fit, in the same shape they're in, so they use it as a venue to make themselves feel better. Don't worry... after the baby, you'll go back down to your regular size and they'll stay as big as they are now, and won't be able to say anything anymore... that's the best vengeance!

some people think it's so funny. Lately I get. "WOW! you are just about ready." And I say "Actually I'm not due till the end of October" Then they make a face & say "Oh God! Please tell me it's twins"  I'm mean luckily it is. But, what if I wasn't having twins??

When people make that twins comment, you should say no with a straight face- and see how people react- Maybe people will begin to realize how potentially offensive their unwanted comments are.
