ipod question
I asked Santa for an Ipod, but have no idea how to use it. You download songs from the computer, right? What sites can you go to? How much is the average song? Can you make groups of songs or do they play in the order you downloaded them? help! TY!!

Re: ipod question
hi
When you get your ipod it comes with a CD which you install on your computer - this is i-tunes. You can burn cd's to itunes and upload into your ipod or you can buy songs on i-tunes for 99 cents each (i-tunes music store is itunes.com). You can make playlists or you can select to listen to an artist, an album, a genre, or shuffle the songs.

Re: ipod question
I like being able to take almost my entire cd collection along in a 40 gb iPod. I've given my iPod to friends - who add all of their cds they've ripped to my iPod. I've been sticking to iTunes but have heard there a plenty of other sites for downloads. For my mom's 60th birthday party, we put a playlist together and used my husband's PA system.
We also have the Bose stereo at home and rather than get the car adapter, we bought the Airplay transmitter so we can just transmit to any radio rather than JUST the car (the beach, your office, etc).
if you ever need to get your songs from your iPod to another computer iTunes wont do it - so you can use a program called Ephod
