self tanners

Do you think they are safe to use?
My legs are the color of paste and there are so many cute dresses and skirts out there. I know tanning is a no-no, but I was wondering what the deal was with self tanners or even that Jergen's natural glow stuff?

I am pretty sure I read pg women can use self tanners since fake tan is better than real sun for your skin. Careful of those dry patches if you have them!

Personally I couldn't use them - because I can hardly reach my ankles - never mind trying to get a self tanner on - EVENLY!! I would look like a leopard!!!!!!!
