When did you start wearing maternity clothes?

I will be going away when I'm 15 weeks and I'm wondering if I should buy some summer maternity clothes for the trip...just in case. Right now, I'm 7 weeks and although all my clothes fit, some just aren't comfortable anymore. When did you guys start wearing maternity clothes?

I am almost 16 weeks, and I am wearing all maternity pants, and some maternity shirts. Most of the maternity tops are way too big on me right now. I would definitely buy some maternity bottoms for your trip, maybe not so many shirts yet. The first thing that happend to my body is my waist expanded a lot. I had a very small waist and now it's so much bigger. Other than that, I have a little bit of a belly. I could probably get away with wearing pants a size bigger, but why bother when you can just wear comfy maternity clothes? Haha. So to answer your question, I went full time in maternity pants about three weeks ago when I was roughly 13 weeks.

I agree--I started to wear them at 14 weeks. They were so much more comfortable.

i'm in my 18th week and in maternity pants. i was squeezing (so uncomfortable) into my regular pants up until a couple weeks ago when i started the transition. i don't know how long it will take for tops, but since i am really petite up top i think it will be a while...

If at 7 weeks your clothes are getting uncomfortable, I would think at 15 weeks you would definitely need maternity clothes. Those jeans with the wide elastic band are good especially for the beginning of pregnancy. Some maternity tops look just like regular tops just a little wider. Those are also good for the beginning. There is some really cute stuff out there nowadays so go shopping! Have fun!

I think I started maternity jeans around 9 weeks, but I can still wear some of my regular pants - depending on the cut (I'm almost 17 weeks now).

Most maternity shirts are still way too big, but I have a few that work for now.

I'm also 7 weeks, and my pants are starting to get uncomfortable. I just bought pants 2 sizes bigger, which fit OK, but are soooooo baggy in the butt. I think it's time for maternity bottoms.

As for tops, I was already big chested and now I'm just ridiculous, I seriously think I'm going to be in maternity tops within the next few weeks. UUGGGHHH, how much bigger are these bad boys going to get???
