does anyone get really depressed..

reading the boards everyday? it seems like so many people have come and gone since i have been here, and i still cant get pregnant!! my emotiions go between being so happy for those who get their BFP's and sad for myself and the emotional rollercoaster i put myself on every month...

yea.. he had a break between seeing patients, so he ran home REAL fast!!!

yes, it's only natural though.

I have seen a lot of girls start trying after me and are long gone now....But its just not "our time" yet...It will be!
Its hard to see the BFP's no matter how happy you are for them, because instinctively you wonder when it will be your turn....

I know the feelings all too well...especially since at this point my son would have been 4 months old and he's no longer here with me and I haven't gotten pg yet and I just feel like everyone and everything is just passing me by.

I am soooooo upset....and I'm sorry you are too. Hopefully it will happen soon!!!!

No so much depressed an discouraged. I feel like "what's wrong with me" sometimes, but there are those days where I throw myself a pity party (I mean, like balloons and cake, too!!.)

I feel stongly that when God feels it is the right time for me, that it will happen, and not a moment sooner.

I think we've all been there.

For a while I was getting depressed and bitter so I knew it was time to stay away from the boards a bit and regroup.

The time gave me some perspective that feeling that way does nothing to help me, and if anything, probably gets in the way.

So now I focus on me, knowing that someday it WILL be my turn and feeling happy for the girls who are fortunate enough to get pregnant - whether it's after years of trying or just after their first month!!

I feel sad too...I also take a break from the boards when it is getting too difficult to deal with. The time will come for all of us!!!

I am so with you.

Its even harder sometimes when I get the courage to lurk on the pregnancy board & see posting from ppl that were on TTC not long ago.
I really & truely am happy for everyones BFP's but I want one for myself too.

My contribution for the "pity party" 2 because I'm in such a funk..I can eat one aalllll by myself!

I can really relate to how you're feeling. On one hand, I am so happy to hear that others are getting pg. Then there's the side of me that gets so depressed and jealous that nothing has happened yet for me. I just keep trying to be positive and telling myself that my time will come.

I agree. i posted about this a few weeks ago, when will it be our time to go to Chuck E Cheese, recitals, etc. It is so depressing. I am sure our time will come. I feel like I need a pity party too.

Yes I feel this way - when I miscarried a year ago now I thought I would be off here so soon. It is very depressing. I have to thank my gals on the Infertility board for their support and friendship and advice and knowledge through all this time..... sometimes I think the GTGs are what keep me sane!!

Yes, it is hard and yes I know my time will come. I believe the "man upstairs' has a plan for everyone. Ive been on here for some time now and I am so happy for all the BFPs, but, yes, I do get sad. It gets a little harder every month, but, again, I know we are here to support one another and each and every one of us will come to "our time"!

I think we all go through this. I'm always happy when someone gets a BFP, and just pray that hopefully I'll be next. It's frustrating but we all have to remain positive.

Yes, this is why I take a break from this board and stay on infertility. We've been trying for a year now and well... please don't anyone take offense but when I read a post that starts... I can't believe we got pregnant on the first or second try I can't decide whether I want to puke or punch something. I had to wait until 33 to meet DH and went through a lot before that. I was hoping God was going to "throw me a bone" on this one. The Fertile Myrtles in the faculty room don't help either. All of the women at the table... all they do is talk babies. I've had to start eating my lunch in my classroom

I just think that the whole process is intimidating and tries with your patience.

On the other hand - when I read that someone gets a BFP that has been trying it is awesome and gives me hope too.
