Is this the sign that I was looking for?
I can't believe how things happen sometimes... 
Right now, DH and I are in the midst of making this huge decision...should we move NOW, or wait? We have been house hunting for 2 years, and have finally found the house of our dreams. It has everything on our "wants" list. But if we buy it, we'll be struggling financially for at least a full year, which will suck. We did get pre-approved for the mortgage yesterday, so that's one step in the right direction.
Here is the house btw
THE house!!
Last night DH asked me to call the lady whose daughter I tutored last year. I told him that I wasn't even sure if they liked me, because they ended it so strangely last June. But if I could find a tutoring job or two, we'd be okay. $50 for one hour of work...you really cannot get any better. Plus I am making some money taking care of a baby twice a week, and subbing at my old district on Tuesdays when DH is off.
Well, I cannot believe what just happened 10 minutes ago.
My old tutoring family CALLED here. I almost fainted when I saw the caller ID.
She referred me to a bunch of her friends whose children are having issues academically. Plus, she might use me again too!!!!!!!!! I felt like crying I was so happy. Oh, and she told me how much they loved me and what a good job I did....I guess they liked me afterall.
Is this a sign from God? I haven't talked to these people in MONTHS and they call out of the blue, just hours after I was thinking of calling them to see if they needed me again this year???? Wowzers.

hey...I remember your post choosing btw the two towns....is this town A or B?
I think it is a sign to move foward with it - the kitchen is gorgeous btw!

This is neither town A or town B.... 
It's one that's right in the middle! I don't know why we hadn't considered it before! It's a beautiful town with amazing schools, but it's more upper middle class...while town A was a more wealthy area.
It's in Farmington, CT for those that live here!

Wow that's a beautiful home. I say go for it!
I think those families calling you to tutor their children is certainly a sign! And think of it this way, there's really never a "perfect" time to buy a home, but you have to do it eventually. Yes, you may struggle for a bit, but in the end it's worth it! You'll be HOMEOWNERS!!!!!

God knows what we need and He gives that to us. You were worried about money, well, that's going to be taken care of.

What were the other towns you were considering?
We were considering Avon, Farmington, Simsbury, Burlington...and Southington because my DH works there.
We also LOVE Essex but we can get a LOT more house for the $$ elsewhere. We neeeeeeed a bigger house.
Do you live in CT??
