Question regarding umbilical cord
Hi,
I am a new mom...and my son's cord fell off last night...however there is still part left that needs to come off, and i noticed this morning greenish pus at the base..
Did anyone experience this? I place a call to his pediatrician but no response yet. He doesn't have a fever and it doesn't smell...just looks awful :(

Re: Question regarding umbilical cord
My pediatrician told me to come in so she could dry it out... Used a cotton swab with some kind of ointment and it stopped...
