Ugh I'm a mess...kidney infection? - update - its a UTI
I am a mess...the pain in my side has gotten worse. I just went to pee and the pain in my back and side was so bad I saw stars. I went online and my symptoms match those of a kidney infection (or UTI). I'm going to one of those walk in medical places as soon as I go home. I don't want to wait til Monday to see the dr.
Wish me luck and cross your fingers that it's not a kidney infection! I'm scared...I read that kidney infections can cause miscarriages in early pregnancy.

i hope you feel better !! If it makes you feel any better I had kidney infection after kidney infection when i was pregnant with my daughter, we were both fine

Turns out I have a UTI not a kidney infectgion...so its not as bad as I thought. I'm now on 7 days of baby-safe antibiotics. I took my first dose last night and this morning I already felt a difference. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started feeling better! Dr told me to drink more water too - which I know I have to do... Ive never had a UTI before so I didnt know what it was!

I used to get chronic UTI's - so I know how you feel!! I am glad you got meds...feel better soon!

me too - they're awful! In fact I was fearing getting them while preggo - good to know there are safe antibiotics in case.
Glad you're feeling better - the drugs work wonders!
