Last Night's Game
DH, Mom and I were there. The Baltimore Crowd was definitely nicer this time, and we had even better seats. Same general area (right behind Matsui) but closer to the field (8 rows back).
It was so exciting, and then Stupid Gordon let them tie it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When they brought in Stanton I turned to DH and said, Why aren't they bringing in Rivera? Stanton will lose the game for us! Adam just says "well, Rivera can only pitch one inning, that's why he's a closer." But then Stanton comes up and Fs it up. Adam said "Banner evening for you, Stanton, you only let them have *one* run!"
We all got a good laugh when they played the following over the loudspeaker: "And the Orioles Pitcher of the Night: MIKE STANTON!"
Why did we bring him back in the first place?

See this is why I don't watch sports news and follow trading prospects. It's too depressing.

That would explain why I didn't know. Don't see many copies of the NY Post around Newark, DE.
Keep Cameron. I'm sure he's great and all, but I don't want to lose our Sheff!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rachel - I think I might have missed a previous post from you about the Baltimore crowd... did you have a bad experience as a yankee fan in Camden Yards previously?
I ask only because the few times I"ve been there, I had wonderful experiences ... quite honestly the fans were incredibly nice and gracious towards us (then again this was a few years ago , when the Orioles s*cked.. )
I love it there , however - great stadium to watch a ballgame..
As for the game - NO COMMENT
