Ok, stupid question since I'm so clueless
Is it safe for me to get a mani/pedi and eyebrow wax?

I got a pedi a few times. I went to a place was fairly slow and that kept the front door open (the weather was better a few weeks ago...). Just don't spend all day there breathing that stuff in....

This has always been my concern. I have gel nails and wonder if it's best to just take em off and be done. The nurse at my doctor's office said it was OK, but... just don't know. I think it's more the fumes than anything that concern me.

I have received plenty mani/pedis (regular, not wraps or anything) and waxings.

I can tell you that waxings are fine. I still get regular mani/pedis. Some docs will tell you to make sure you are in a room with enough ventilation so you don't inhale too many fumes. Ask your practicioner to see what he/she says. Mine didn't seem to have an issue with it.

Re: Ok, stupid question since I'm so clueless
Just a warning...the eyebrow wax may hurt more now! The first time I got waxed I couldn't believe the pain since I have been getting it done faithfully for years! And now my eyes water more (in the second trimester) and that is annoying when getting waxed.
