Sunday traffic leaving the city
This weekend I think I will be driving my car into the city for the first time ever (well, ever on purpose), and I am really nervous.
But I was wondering if traffic leaving the city on a Sunday, heading East on the LIExpressway is as bad as going West? I'm sure there will be some, but do you think that bad?

It depends on the time of day -- I find there to be more traffic in the mornings to midafternoon but not as bad late afternoon/evening.
