BF moms...too much milk & letdown
Yesterday Gianna projectile vomitted in my hallway, scared me!
Went to PED & a variety of things she has all lead back to me and my boobs.
The dr said, her greenish-yellow stools(not getting hind milk), choking, gagging and constantly pullin on/off during feeding, arching her back, and resulting reflux all lead to my fast letdown and me having too much milk.
Dr told me to drink mint tea 3-4 times a day, and feed the baby in a reclining position.
Has this happened to anyone else? How do you lessen the supply?
Thank goodness I don't pump often, cause that would make it worse.
Anyone know of other ways to lessen the supply? I do not like mint or flavored teas

I had the same problem - my milk was in such overabundance that Alex would start choking everytime I went to BF her, and it also aggravated her already awful gas problems To help I would either pump a little before feeding Alex, or right after she would latch on and I would feel the letdown, I would "unlatch" Alex, let it flow a minute on its own and then let her go back on... it seemed to help.
