baby sling - do you use one?
DS seems to only sleep while I hold him - thinking about getting a baby sling
what do you think? and which do you have?

I'm thinking of getting one too. I love the Baby Bjorn but DD is so tiny and looks a bit uncomfortable sleeping in it when her head falls to the side (she seems to sleep fine in it though!). I have the Ella Roo but I have no idea how to use it- I can't seem to get the hang of it.
Which slings are the best?? Recommendations from the BTDT moms?

LOVE Sling Ezee by Parenting Concepts! I wear DD and she LOVES it. It is a blessing, especially when she fusses!

I used the Baby Bjorn a lot to clean and get things done around the house as well as walk on the treadmil.

I have a sling from Lucky baby. You can usually get good deals online in their sale section to try it out without spending a lot of money. They have cute fabrics too.

I started with a baby bjorn and now have a hotsling, mei tai, wrap... My daughter is 17 months and I still "wear" her to do lots of errands and trips to the park. They are so helpful!!

My two sons are adopted, so I wear them alot for attachment. I have used many:
Ergo-#1 fav
Hip Hammock
Mei-tai wrap
over the shoulder baby holder-sling
wilkinet-european
Bjorn-not a fan
rosie wrap
I think it is a very personal preference. Enjoy!!

I wish I had a sling when Noah was an infant, I couldn't put him down for a good six months! We had a lady come to my baby group to do a talk about babywearing and I wish I had met her when he was just born. The best kind of wrap is the kind that looks like a BIG piece of fabric and you can wrap it around you....

That sounds like the Ella Roo wrap- just a gigantic piece of fabric that you tie in different ways. I've got to learn how to use that thing! It looks so cool in the photos!
